Our technologies optimise students' learning experience with efficient and accurate tutor matching, content recommendation and learning data visualisation. Snapask is now in 8 markets in Asia including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and South Korea, supporting over 3 million students with over 350,000 qualified tutors from top universities.

We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to source, develop and grow relationships with Malaysian education partners. We want to partner with teachers, schools and corporate partners to bring Snapask to more students, and help educators make use of our learner analytics to adapt their teaching approaches.


The Business Development Manager will work closely with teammates from Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan to refine and improve our partnership offerings. He/she will lay down partnership strategies and processes for Malaysia to maximize Snapask's industry and community reach.


What you can expect to do

Understand and refine Snapask offerings for education partners.

Work with stakeholders to set lead generation, meetings and accounts closed goals that meet Snapask business goals.

Construct and negotiate agreements that meet expectations of Snapask and all stakeholders.

Work with internal support functions to ensure that every deal that goes live on the platform meets quality standards.

Analyze findings, report on key results, and present recommendations to stakeholders.

Research, identify and develop appropriate local sales and payment channels.

2+ years in business development, partnerships, or other account management related roles.

Excellent communication skills with a consultative sales approach and be a strong persuader and influencer.

Comfort in a face-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment.

Strong sense of motivation to build something from scratch.

Ability to converse and write in English and Malay fluently.

Local sales and marketing expertise in the education industry is a plus.

Proven success in business development, client relationship and servicing skills is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills is a plus.

Relevant experience in strategy, sales or marketing at an education or mobile SaaS company.
